Artist's Comments
This design was inspired by the hardy mountain laurel that grew wild around the house I grew up in. Trivia: it is also the state plant for Pennsylvania.
Each leaf was hand cut, scored and applied to a leather base mask, then molded, dried and airbrushed with acrylic paint, and sealed to protect from moisture. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
